Accessibility
Accessibility means that websites, tools, and technologies are designed and developed so that people with disabilities can use them. Which means that everybody should be able to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the web, but can also contribute to it. Web accessibility encompasses all disabilities that affect access to the Web, including auditory, cognitive, neurological, physical, speech and visual disabilities.
Expert Tip
The Web is fundamentally designed to work for all people, whatever their hardware, software, language, location, or ability. That's why you should always pay attention to accessibility when designing and coding a website. You should also keep in mind that accessibility is required by law in many situations.
