Header
A website header is the top section of a webpage, usually containing important information such as name, logo, menu, and search bar. More importantly, it acts as a consistent anchor for a good user experience in navigating a website.

Expert Tip
A header is usually consistent across all of the pages on the website, however, some designs give the home page a slightly different header appearance in order to draw attention to featured areas of the site.
