Favicon
A favicon (short for Favorite Icon) - is a small 16×16 pixel icon that serves as branding for your website typically displayed in the address bar of a browser next to the site name. Its main purpose is to help visitors locate your page easier when they have multiple tabs open.

Expert Tip
Due to their tiny size, favicons work best as simple images or max 3 characters of text. Don’t forget to export them as .PNG files, allowing for transparency.
