Grid

A grid is a system of intersecting horizontal and vertical lines that form a structure to organize and align design elements on a webpage. It acts as a blueprint that provides balance, consistency, and order, making the layout visually appealing and easier for users to navigate. Grids help ensure that elements like text, images, and buttons are consistently positioned across different pages and devices.

Expert Tip

Responsiveness is key. Unlike regular static grids, responsive grids use percentages to distribute the content uniformly regardless of screen size. They’re key for adapting your layout for various screens without distorting the content or dimensions.
